I’m not one who likes to make New Year’s Resolutions…I find
it cliché, kind of like roses on Valentine’s Day. However, I’m all about
setting goals; something that can and should be done any time of the
year. So, on this new day in a new year, Mike and I have decided to put
into action a goal we’ve both shared – writing a blog.
I’ve considered blogging off and on for a while; there have
been many times throughout my adult life where my father would encourage me to
write a particular story down so the humoristic details of the event could be
remembered. And, in the course of our marriage, Mike and I are constantly
baffled at the absurd situation we find ourselves in.
The writer (and sarcasm) in both of us helped to persuade us
into capturing our crazy stories, adventures and Murphy’s Law mishaps into a
blog. But – we didn’t want to do things in a traditional manner, so our
stories will be told from a duel perspective; Mike {m} and Sarah {s}.
And while not every story will be butterflies and rainbows,
we seek to find the bright side out of every misfortune, frustration or
chaos. That said, buckle up ladies and gentlemen, it’s going to be
AllBrighty!
